Editorial Link Building: How Guest Post Placements Actually Work
Editorial placements still need a real publisher and a real article, which is why the outcome depends on the site as much as on the content.
The order is sent to the publisher with the article attached. From that point the timeline depends on editorial review, and the buyer normally sees the status change from awaiting placement to a published page.
What to check before ordering
It is worth confirming how the publisher reports completion, because a placement that is never confirmed cannot be measured later.
Teams that prefer not to negotiate individual publisher terms can coordinate outreach, content and verification through DigitalGroup. Reporting is part of the workflow, so it stays visible which placements went live and when.
For teams evaluating guest post placements on evimturk.com, starting with a small test batch gives a clear signal on turnaround time before committing larger budgets.
